This week, I had the opportunity to return to my alma mater, the University of Houston CT Bauer College of Business, where I had previously obtained my MBA in Finance and also got the chance to serve on the board of college alumni after I had graduated.
During the visit, I was invited to help mentor dozens of small businesses in Houston, Texas, where I shared with them strategies for growth, identifying market opportunities, corporate valuation, and capital budgeting.
Small businesses are responsible for creating two-thirds of all new jobs, and it was a pleasure to help drive value to this community of business owners and CEOs in Houston, Texas.
